Christopher (Scott) Mackinaw Scott Mackinaw Vice President - Inside
Plant & Broadband Scott Mackinaw joined
Joseph D. Fail Engineering Company, Inc. (JDFEC) in June of 2004. He brings
over 20 years of experience in all aspects of facilities based communications
networks; inclusive of Legacy and Next Generation Systems. His strong project
management, personnel management, and technical team building skills combined
with a detailed understanding of public and private networks provide an
extremely well rounded background in the telecommunications industry. After obtaining a Bachelor's Degree
in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama, he developed an
in-depth understanding of communications networks while working with
telecommunications service providers American Telephone Network and MidCom
Communications, Inc. He further
expanded his expertise to include the areas of technical training,
installation, customer service and technical support with Digital
Telecommunications, Inc. (DTI) and CopperCom. His diverse responsibilities in the implementation of
integrated TDM and Softswitching solutions for Voice over Broadband networks
allowed him to develop a wide range of technical, operational and strategic
planning skills. At JDFEC, he
has assumed the position of Vice President of Broadband Engineering and
directs all Inside Plant Engineering activities, as well as, the preparation,
submission and implementation of all state & federal loan and grant
(telephone & broadband) applications for JDFEC clients.
